Manifesto

Communities are a commodity.

Every university campus has a startup community. Every venture capital firm promotes community as a perk. There’s no shortage of founder networking events, group chats, and coworking spaces.

It’s easy to get lost in the noise of professionalism and ego.

So, why SEP?

We exist to nurture the human spirit amongst the ambitious.

We are ambitious, purpose-driven, and intentional. But, that’s not all that we are. Beyond our ambition, we love life. We appreciate the relationships and experiences around us. And we prioritize them. We make sacrifices to live life intentionally.

We love startups, product-building, and innovation. We admire a career that impacts society and creates economic value. We strive to be founders and builders of the future we want to see.

We are a community. We are also a startup incubator. And most importantly, we are a group of friends that enjoys life to its fullest. We use our ambitions as catalysts to craft fulfilling careers and enduring friendships.

Our mission is to help students at USC realize their startup ambitions and grow into them. We do this together, not because we need to, but because we want to.
